Dark Chocolate can Lower Blood Pressure

Recent studies have come to the conclusion that eating dark chocolate every day can lower your blood pressure a tiny bit. That is good news for my wife, even though she doesn’t have high blood pressure, as it gives her yet another reason to eat it-as if she really needed one!
While dark chocolate may lower your blood pressure it is the sugar and other undesirable elements that come in the candy that might not be so good for you. In fact too much sugar is just plain bad for you.
There are other fruits, that don’t have the unhealthy aspects of dark chocolate bars, such as blackberries, apricots and apples that have the same flavanols (the same compound that is found in chocolate that is responsible for the lowering of high blood pressure)as chocolate but without the sugar.
